Drew Barrymore has reportedly put her dog Flossie, a Labrador/Chow Chow mix, on a diet. She is said to be so worried about her recent weight gain that she asked the vet to put the dog on prescription diet pills Slentrol.

From dogs and cats to cows and gerbils, Pete Wedderburn lists his top 20 family pets. I would definitely change the order of preference, but it's a good list. Remember, a pet should fit comfortably into your lifestyle and suit your own preferences. Never get a certain type of pet if you don't have the correct environment for it to live in or because it happens to be cool at the time. I wish I could have all of those pets (except maybe the stick insects)...

I run my own pet care business and I do a lot of cat sitting so I've seen my share of litter boxes, believe me. Now, there is nothing wrong is an ordinary old rectangle box but if cleaning your cat's poop is something you dread then these three cat boxes may make the task a little more pleasant for you.
