Watch the 'Rachael Ray Feeds Your Pets' special tomorrow (Saturday March 8th) at 9pm on the Food Network.

This hour-long prime time special combines two of Rachael Ray's greatest passions: food and animals.
Rachael prepares three homemade recipes for her beloved dog, Isaboo, who gobbles them right up!
Rachael Ray Feeds Your Pets entertains and informs as it brings practical advice about safe and nutritious food for your pets.

The scoop is she's going to prepare three homemade recipes, meet some hardworking dogs on a Colorado cattle ranch, hike with llamas, check out a fashionable New England pet bakery, and get advice from her pet nutritionist on safe and healthy food for pets.

You can switch up the flavours of these Ruby-approved bickies by choosing different kinds of baby food. Green beans and sweet potatoes are doggy delish.

  • 6 cups whole wheat flour
  • 3 cups wheat germ
  • 1.5 cups vegetable broth
  • 3 cups baby food of your choice
  • 9 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons dried alfalfa flakes
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, wheat germ, and alfalfa.
  2. Stir in broth, baby food, and oil until well blended.
  3. Knead on a lightly floured surface. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees until firm and dry.

Speaking of cookie cutters, how cute are these? Of course we like the Boston ones the best.
