Ruby and I were very excited to learn about Pet Airways. Most pet owners can relate to the trials of planning a trip with (or without) their pet. Should you take them with you? Should you drive? Should you fly? Do you really want your pet flying cargo? Most airlines aren’t allowing small pets to fly with their owners in the cabin anymore but starting Spring/Summer 2009, your pet can fly Pet Airways. With the airport Pet Lounge, shuttle bus, and on flight Pet Attendants, you can get your pet to your destination in first class style!

Oh snap there was a special on ABC Nightline last night about Doga. That’s yoga you do with your dog of course. Did you see it? If not the article is here.
The latest fitness craze for dog lovers is called “doga” and it’s coming to a mat near you. In a typical doga class, owners help their pups facilitate different poses, and they also do their own poses using the animals as helpful props. Owners also perform doggy massage and acupressure to help soothe and relax their pets.

Ruby and I are back from our trip! We went to Cornwall, Ontario to visit family. In December my grandparents moved from Toronto to Cornwall to move into a retirement home. Ruby and I were happy for them but sad for ourselves, sad to see them go. Ruby is very close with my grandfather. It’s so nice to see my grandfather’s eyes light up when Ruby’s around. (more…)
