The Right Breed is yet another online dating site but with a twist. It's for pet lovers looking for pet lovers. I've heard stories about people using traditional dating sites, getting to know someone only to find out later that their potential love interest hates cats. Imagine searching for love using your favourite breed as a criteria? Sounds good to me, because honestly if you don't absolutely swoon over the squishy loveliness of a Boston Terrier face - I just couldn't relate. And if you couldn't live in a house with at least 2 cats - forget about it! When I signed up my dad up on lavalife (sorry dad!) the first thing I wrote is that he has two dogs who are a very important part of his life. The idea at The Right Breed is that a love for animals is a given. A nice touch is the founder wants to eventually give part of the profits to various charities. The site launched just today and I'm curious to see how the concept flies.
