In September, they're narrowing it down to 24 Finalists, the top 4 dogs from each of the 6 categories, based on your votes. Then those 24 will compete for the chance to travel to LA and get one step closer to becoming Worldwide Fido 2008!

From now through August 31, 2008, animal lovers across Canada have a unique opportunity to make a difference in a dog's life by making a donation of $1.00 using their mobile phones, courtesy of the Pedigree Adoption Drive Campaign, CTV, and major mobile phone companies across Canada. Ruby and I are excited the show is finally underway however we are deeply disappointed that Ezzie the Boston Terrier was sent home. BOOOOOOOO. In true cheeky Boston style Ezzie barfed on the host and stole another contestant's skateboard! Despite this, she seriously was not the worst contestant and did not deserve to be eliminated.
