You can switch up the flavours of these Ruby-approved bickies by choosing different kinds of baby food. Green beans and sweet potatoes are doggy delish.
- 6 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 cups wheat germ
- 1.5 cups vegetable broth
- 3 cups baby food of your choice
- 9 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 tablespoons dried alfalfa flakes
- In a large bowl, combine flour, wheat germ, and alfalfa.
- Stir in broth, baby food, and oil until well blended.
- Knead on a lightly floured surface. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutters.
- Bake at 375 degrees until firm and dry.
Speaking of cookie cutters, how cute are these? Of course we like the Boston ones the best.
